The Hunger Games + me being awkward

I can’t wait for the March 23rd premier of the Hunger Games, how about you? This recent Glamour cover also got me pondering just how much Jennifer Lawrence looks Carla Bruni Sarkozy, (the “First Lady” of France, haha).

It’s uncanny, no? I’m unbelievably jealous of them. I want a hot celebrity twin.
Anyways, another reason I can’t wait to see the Hunger Games in theaters is because the Breaking Dawn: Part II trailer will premiere. (No, not even kidding)

My girlfriends and I used to see the films to laugh at the gratuitous, shirtless, Jacob shots, (and to drool over him), but never took any of it seriously. I’m a faithful True Blood fan, anyways. Or I was. In the lull after quickly finishing the Hunger Games series, Amazon offered a cheap Kindle download of the first Twilight book and I said, “sure, why not?” …and now I’m addicted.

This morning, I seriously considered using Breaking Dawn’s “Turning Page” song by Ryan O’Neal as a wedding song:

I’ve waited a hundred years,
But I’d wait a million more for you.
Nothing prepared me for,
What the privilege of being yours would do.

After I nixed it, I debated just using Edward’s wedding toast to Bella:
“No measure of time with you will ever be enough, but let’s start with forever.”

Melting!!! No wonder this has tweens and full-grown women (ahem) swooning. Hello. That is some good shit! I want someone to tell me I’m lovely and far from ordinary.

I’m now completely and embarrassingly obsessed with Twilight and my fiancΓ© is having a ball teasing me about it.

xoxo, Wendy
